Our Story
Our family moved to the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta in the Fall of 2016 to serve on mission. We served our neighbors through our local schools, recreation center, apartment complexes, and homeless ministry.
In 2018 The Well was born with the support of our home church - Chesterfield County Community Church located in Chesterfield, SC as well as other partners. In 2020, The Well was able to become its own non-profit ministry in order to fulfill its mission of serving Metro Atlanta.
On November 6, 2022 The Well officially launched as a church in Conyers, GA. We continue to serve our neighbors in Atlanta and surrounding communities.

In John 4, you find the story of the Samaritan woman's encounter with Jesus. It was at the well that she realized that she was known. Jesus knew everything - her past, her present, her future. He knew her, yet he loved her. At the well she found truth. At the well she found grace. At the well she found love. At the well she found forgiveness. At the well she found life.
You are also known and regardless of any circumstances past or present, you are loved.

We believe we are called to...
Worship.
Worship isn't just a Sunday morning activity but an everyday life surrendered to God.
Engage.
We should engage those we come in contact with to build relationships that honor God.
Love.
Everyone is worthy of love and the best way to demonstrate our love for our neighbor is through humble service.
Live.
We were created to live in community by sharing our everyday with each other.
