Our desire at The Well is to become an authentic college-age community that is passionately seeking Jesus. We plan to pursue that desire through our mission statement. Our mission at The Well is to cultivate whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ by growing together, serving others and living to pursue God.

Cultivate whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ.
Paul once proclaimed, “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” It is our prayer to grow into a community of college students that corporately and individually live this statement out.

Growing Together.
We believe that we were created to live in authentic community. One of the best ways to grow spiritually is to develop transparent relationships with those around us. All of us carry burdens and pains, and so often, we put on masks to make life seem different than it really is. That is why small groups are such a priority for us at The Well. Solomon writes in Proverbs, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” At The Well, we want to sharpen each other to become more like Christ.

Serving Others.
James tells us that pure and undefiled religion is to look after orphans and widows in their distress. Jesus said, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” It is our desire to bring the hope of Christ to the hurting around us, as we believe the Body of Christ is the greatest agent of healing in the world.

Living to Pursue God.
In Jeremiah 29:13, God declares, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.” A life that pursues God is a life that sees and savors Jesus Christ. It is a life that desires living in the presence of Christ above all else. It is a life that declares along with Paul, “To live is Christ and to die is gain.” It is our hope to be a community that desires to live for God’s glory and experience His presence above all else.
